Experian's Consumer View Database contains more than 250 million individual customer records that Experian licenses to companies for marketing purposes. Experian purchases some of these records from competitors. In this case, Experian discovered that 94-97% of the data purchased from a competitor, Nationwide, was identical data to that which Experian already had.
