Kieselstein-Cord v. Accessories by Pearl, Inc.

632 F.2d 989 (2d Cir. 1980)
#

What is art nouveau? It's a school of art and design that developed in the late nineteenth century which was characterized by flowing, organic forms. The plaintiff, Barry Kieselstein-Cord, is a famous modern jewelry designer and photographer as well as a member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America.

Kieselstein-Cord based his design of the Vaquero buckle on Spanish art nouveau architecture. His design for the Winchester buckle was inspired by the rifle of the same name.

If you'd like a belt buckle, you can actually buy one from Kieselstein-Cord himself. If not, then you might try something a little more Western, or maybe something completely different.
